Bio 

 After working as a registered nurse at a hospital in Japan,  I also worked as a maternal, child and reproductive health specialist in developing counties such as Ethiopia, East Timor,  Sudan and Jordan more than 15 years.  Supporting pregnant person and their families go through the stages from pregnancy, birth through to postpartum period is my passion.

 My experience in Japan and other countries constituted excellent preparation for me to provide birth and postpartum doula services in the U.S. In July and November 2014, I participated in doula training conducted by DONA International and started working as a doula.
